Tyndale University College is currently inviting applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biblical Studies. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate introductory courses (Old Testament Scriptures, New Testament Scriptures and Hermeneutics), biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek), upper level courses, and seminars in biblical theology. Level of appointment will be dependent upon experience.

Tyndale University College is a Christian liberal arts university with a commitment to undergraduate teaching, faith integration inside and outside the classroom, and student transformation. Applicants should be able to show evidence of excellence in teaching and be engaged in research and publication within the field of Biblical Studies.

Review of applications will begin November 1, 2016 and continue until the position is filled. Members of the Search Committee will hold preliminary interviews at the Society of Biblical Literature Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, November 19-20, 2016.

This position is scheduled to begin August 1, 2017.
