Professor of Old Testament

The professor will be based at the Ontario, CA campus of the Seminary, teach Old Testament and related courses at both the master’s and doctoral levels, supervise students, represent and promote the discipline and the Seminary among the Seminary’s various constituencies, and participate in general faculty responsibilities.

Assistant Professor of Missions and Old Testament

The Huntington University Institute of Christian Thought and Practice seeks candidates for a
full-time tenure track faculty position specializing in both Missions and Old Testament.

Job Summary

Tenure-track position in Old Testament at Bethel Seminary St. Paul. Academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Teach a full-time load (seven 3-semester hour courses or equivalent per academic year).
Teaching assignments include Old Testament content, hermeneutics, exegesis, and Hebrew language, in both in person and online delivery systems. Other faculty assignments include faculty meetings, mentoring of students, and committee work.
