How can I tell if I’m already registered for the conference?

You can see whether or not you are registered for conference by clicking on the "HOME" button in the upper right hand corner of this page. The "Account Status" box in the upper right hand corner of the HOME page will tell you whether or not you are registered. You must be logged in to your user account to see your status.

I got a print program in the mail. Does this mean I’m registered for the conference?

No, ETS mails the print program to all current ETS members. Receiving the print program in the mail does not mean that you have registered for conference.

My paper proposal was accepted for the program. Does this mean I’m automatically registered?

No, you must still register yourself for conference.

If I pre-registered, when will I receive my name badge?

All name badges and banquet tickets will be mailed by October 31st. If you do not receive your name badge in the mail, you can print a replacement badge at the Conference Registration desk.

Do I need to check-in when I get there?

To check in please go to the Tote Bag window of the Conference Registration desk when you arrive to pick up your tote bag and lanyard.

Can I replace my name badge if I never received it in the mail, forgot to bring it, or have lost it?

Yes, go to the Name Badge Reprint station at the Conference Registration Desk to print a replacement badge.

I didn’t purchase a banquet ticket when I registered, can I still get one?

Tickets can be purchased at the Conference Registration desk until 6pm on Wednesday, November 20th. while supplies last.

Where is the Exhibit Hall?

The Exhibit Hall is on the second floor of the Manchester Grand Hyatt in the Harbor Ballroom.

Am I required to have my name badge to go in the exhibit hall?

Yes. No one will be granted admission to the exhibit hall without a name badge.

How can I get a copy of a presentation?

ETS does not collect the individual presentations. To obtain a copy, you can request one from the speaker. Presentation recordings may be purchased at conference from WordMp3 (Booth 113) in the exhibit hall or from their website at

What is the conference refund policy?

Registration and banquet tickets are fully refundable until October 25, 2019.

I’m not a member of ETS, but would like to become one. Can I apply for membership at Conference?

Yes. Although it’s best to apply for membership before the conference, you can submit a membership application at the Member Registration window of the Conference Registration Desk.

Is there free WiFi in the Manchester Grand Hyatt?

Yes, but only in the public spaces like the Lobby and Outlets (Sally’s, Brew30, Grand Lobby Bar, Top of the Hyatt). If you are staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, then you can also log on for free through your Guest Room credentials
