Erskine College, the liberal arts college of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, announces a tenure-track opening in Biblical Studies at the assistant-professor level starting in August 2021.

Qualifications include Ph.D. in Biblical Studies with concentration in Old and/or New Testament, and a commitment to undergraduate Christian liberal arts education. A record of successful teaching and scholarly achievement is desirable. The candidate must be strongly committed to the educational purpose and evangelical Christian orientation of the College, the mission of which is to equip students to flourish by providing an excellent liberal-arts education in a Christ-centered environment where learning and biblical truth are integrated to develop the whole person.

Instructional responsibilities include teaching general-education surveys of the Old and New Testaments as well as upper-division undergraduate courses in Bible. General faculty responsibilities include student advising, departmental and committee assignments. Salary is negotiable and is dependent upon degrees and experience.
