Description

The Beauty of God for a Broken World addresses the increasingly vitriolic charge by the “new atheists” that the God of the Bible is ugly. Using insights from Jonathan Edwards, I deal with The Beauty of God the Creator, The Beauty of God the Redeemer, The Beauty of God the Judge, The Beauty of the Triune God, and Seeing the Beauty of God. I use a minimum of technical vocabulary and lots of illustrations to “bring ‘giraffe food’ down to the place where rabbits can feast. And what a feast it is!” (Dr. Samuel T. Logan, Jr. in the Foreword). I write both for interested outsiders who suspect that God is unlovely and for earnest believers who want to love Him more.
