How might a Chinese cultural lens sharpen the contours of biblical theology? What happens when we intentionally interpret Scripture from a cultural perspective? The result can be called an “exegetical contextualization.” In this article, I give an example of exegetical contextualization from a Chinese perspective. Accordingly, we see how the use of diverse cultural lenses can contribute to biblical theology.
