There is an opportunity to teach at the Zaporozhye Bible College and Seminary in Ukraine in their MTh program. ZBCS is a missionary endeavor. It is a nonprofit organization. All visiting professors are in effect short term missionaries. You would need to raise your own airfare and bring 350 Euro (or equivalent) for food and transport. Philip A Gottschalk, Chair, Division of Theological & Historical Studies at Tyndale Theological Seminary in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is coordinating it. A couple TTS grads are involved there, Vladimir Gorbenko and Olga Litvinenko. Vladimir is the Academic Dean at ZBCS and Olga is our interpreter. Vladimir has an MDiv from Tyndale and an MA from Gordon Conwell TS. Olga has an MDiv from Tyndale and an MTh from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. The following are possible dates for teaching one-week long seminar classes
The dates are flexible to some degree, if the potential professor would like to suggest approximately similar dates, e.g. one week earlier or later. One could do a seminar in one's area of specialty. For instance, Dr. Gottschalk has taught four courses there: one of which was on Russian Sophiology/ Panentheism from his MA and PhD research. Courses students have taken:
Potential Future Courses: The class is made up of some fourth year BTh students and graduates of the undergraduate program at ZBCS. Some of the students are being prepared to teach on the undergraduate level. For details about the school visit here If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, contact Philip A.
