Grove City College announces a regular full-time faculty opening in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies and Philosophy, beginning in the fall of 2018. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Practical Theology, with seminary training desired but candidates with a D.Min. will also be considered. Scholars in the field of Youth Ministry, Missions, and/or Christian Leadership or other areas related to practical Christian ministry are welcomed to apply.

The ideal candidate will have both teaching experience and a proven track record in practical ministry. This position will involve teaching Christian ministry courses and overseeing the Christian ministry major. It is also expected that the faculty member will cultivate relationships with churches and other Christian ministries in the region. Evidence of potential for teaching excellence and demonstrated scholarly aspirations are valued.

The Grove City College Department of Biblical and Religious Studies and Philosophy is a robust and collegial community of scholars. Candidates must be committed to teaching highly motivated students at a Christian liberal arts institution. We are seeking a scholar who affirms the full authority of Scripture and who is passionate about teaching the Christian faith and mentoring students of all backgrounds. The candidate should be committed to working within a Department that is largely reformed in character. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
