The Gulf Training Center (GTC) is inviting applications for our Residency in Global Theological Education for the 2019-20 academic year. Designed for those interested in exploring the possibility of longer-term work in cross-cultural theological education, this commitment of one school year will allow you to serve in a strategic role and learn through cross-cultural ministry experience. Residents will serve as part of the GTC team, teaching classes in Bible and theology, and participating in planning, administration, and student care.

Located in Dubai, UAE, the Gulf Training Center is a new institution training pastors and church planters for the 10/40 Window. We are affiliated with Redeemer Church of Dubai. We began offering classes in 2015, and our innovative church-dependent pastoral education curriculum launched with the 2016-17 cohort. We are working in partnership with notable international seminaries and mission organizations, and are pursuing regional accreditation. Currently all classes are taught in English. Past visiting professors have included Joel Beeke, Todd Bolen, D.A. Carson, Mark Dever, Ligon Duncan, Mike Fabarez, Gary Millar, Michael Reeves, Thomas Schreiner, Bruce Ware, and Stephen Wellum.

Requirements include:
A growing believer in Jesus Christ
Graduate degree from an evangelical seminary (M.A., M.Div., Th.M., M.Th.)
Passion for the local church and the church’s mission of making disciples of all nations
Agreement with The Gospel Coalition Confessional Statement (http://bit.ly/tgc-confession)
Membership in, and strong recommendation of, faithful local church
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to ministry in a very diverse multi-cultural setting
Ability to teach
