The Bioethics Consultation is devoted to examining the ever-increasing number of challenges in health care and biotechnology that constitute the field of bioethics.

Issues addressed include assisted reproduction, birth control, abortion, informed consent, stem cell research, cloning, genetic testing, genetic therapy and design, access to health care, aging, end-of-life treatment, physician-assisted suicide, euthanasia, life extension, nanotechnology, and drug and cybernetic enhancement, among many others.

The Consultation has particular interest in exploring relevant biblical teachings and how to communicate their insights effectively in the church, public policy, health care, bioscience, education, the media, and other contemporary settings.
